SOUP Architects are an award-winning practice based in London and Guernsey, founded in 2012. SOUP have completed over 80 projects to date and have won multiple RIBA Awards in 2014, 2015 and 2018 including the RIBA South East Small Project Award 2018 and our ‘Oatlands Close’ project featured on Grand Designs: RIBA House of the Year 2018.

SOUP is a friendly and approachable practice, always focused on meeting the needs of clients and challenging a project ambitions from small residential extensions to multi-unit housing developments. Everyone within the practice has something different to add to the SOUP, embracing an open design dialogue within the practice and wider design team so that the quality of design is exponentially improved.

SOUP actively encourage clients to engage in all aspects of the design process too, so that the final design resolution and resultant buildings are occupied and enjoyed to their full potential.

Each project is analysed in their own merit and the evolution of the design is focused on the end user. This approach has led to several long-term clients and opportunities to partner in additional support work within education and arts programmes.

SOUP Architects have been long term supporters of the Architecture Foundation and their inclusion within the New Architects 4 publication would offer the opportunity to highlight a practice that has built a comprehensive portfolio of award-winning work across the UK and the Channel Islands.
