Established in 2011, by David De La Mare, DLM Architects are a multi award winning RIBA chartered practice. David has always been drawn to residential architecture because of the personal collaboration between architect and client, the relationships formed and emotional investment that develops over the duration of a project. We work closely with all our clients to design exceptional buildings, anything from small renovations to bespoke homes, housing developments and commercial projects. We understand the value and importance of creating spaces that are not only beautiful but are functional and enhance our clients daily lives. We consciously create spaces that go further than our specific needs, awakening our inner creativity and playfulness and encouraging enjoyment of our surroundings.
We design as an extension of the landscape, informed by natural and physical parameters and always conscious of the pressure on our planet. In understanding a client’s taste we quickly develop a design and style that works for them and build a relationship based on trust and collaboration.
